Lia Johnson, MS – Strategic Leader with 25+ years of federal government experience in customer experience, inventory, program management, and leadership training.
My personal testimony is that as a youth I was faced with many challenges internally and externally; and at times struggled to find my way. As I matured, I realized a lot of my peers also faced the same challenges. My blessing is that I had grounded and present parents in our home who reminded me at a young age that behavior and proper etiquette matters
They often said that “Please and thank you will take you where money may not.” During my life, I have come to learn this lesson is so very true. Displaying good manners and proper etiquette goes a long way, sometimes opening doors that may have otherwise been closed. The ability to communicate and understanding social cues in various settings is vital to anyone’s overall success—Etiquette really Matters!
